A classic Canterbury family tramp! Due to wind gusts of over 100km/hr, we decided to take the 4WD track just after the Blackburn Mine, instead of the Miners Track which traverses steep cliffs. You can walk from the Jig Road carpark to Woolshed Creek Hut (2 - 3 hrs - great for young kids) or walk the full track (1 - 2 days - depending on whether you stay at Pinnacles Hut or not) which finishes at Sharplin Falls (Alford Forest) 🥾❤️
